Ash Barty confirmed to play New Zealand Open
Former World No.1 to make competitive sporting comeback

Ash Barty will make her competitive sporting comeback at the New Zealand Open, a golf tournament scheduled to take place from February 2-5.
Barty, who retired from tennis in March 2022, is a three-time Grand Slam singles champion, having claimed titles at the 2019 French Open, the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, and the 2022 Australian Open.
The 26-year-old Australian will play in the pro-am event at the New Zealand Open, which will be held at the Millbrook Resort in Queenstown.
Barty has been a keen golfer since her retirement from tennis, and she has played in several pro-am events in Australia in recent months.
The New Zealand Open will be Barty's first competitive sporting event since she retired from tennis.
